Only stayed for a day but our crew enjoyed the fresh seafood at the many restaurants that are in walking distance. The fact that you can rent a car is a great service and the docks and showers were in excellent condition. The staff is professional and are used to a transient crowed. We enjoyed our experience and will return. Easy in and out.

The floating docks are in excellent condition. The bathrooms are very clean. One washer & dryer @ $1.75 ea. $12.00 fee for a pumpout - the only downside to this marina. Nice boaters lounge.
Helpful staff. Easy access to half a dozen restaurants in town. Loaner vehicle for $10.00 for 2 hours. Grocery stores not walkable. Ace Marine (caters to the commercial fisherman), Beach Bumz (pizza plus) and Alex and Brett (small gourmet store) are all walkable. This time of year I think we were the only transients on the dock!

Great staff, very helpful. Close to good restaurants, cab to grocery only $10 each way.
The only "negative" is that the slips are all for much longer boats than our little 42 footer. Leaving in the wind made it a challenge to avoid the aft piers that were a good 10 feet behind us.

Excellent facility. We negotiated to tie up at the end of D dock because of the wind and current at the time we arrived. The dock hands were excellent in listening to our concerns and helping us find a slip that met our needs. The area surrounding the marina is not scenic. Very clean laundry and shower facilities. Ace Marine for supplies is a short walk away. Avis car rental in Morehead City came 6 miles to pick us up for a one-way car rental. The marina has negotiated discounts with Avis and Enterprise as well.

The nor'easter hadn't quite settled down so upon arrival two great dockhands had us lassoed as our trawler was attempting to become a kite! This marina is clean and well kept, excellent laundry machines and very clean shower/washrooms.
Excellent restaurants nearby you can eat fancy or just pizza, no place is a wrong choice and they are walkable. Do not miss the bakery!!! Fantastic breads!
They have a loaner car ($10 for 2 hours), we took advantage because of requiring routine bloodtest at a Quest which was not walkable. Sometimes we've spent as much as $50 for a roundtrip cab fare, so this is a great benefit at the marina.
